Within the framework of a contest organised by CambridgePYTHON, Business Angel Seedfund will financially support the best business ideas of Polish students and young scientists.

Business Angel Seedfund has started cooperation with CambridgePYTHON – the organizer of the second edition of a contest “Wiesz, Wymyśl, Wygraj” (“Learn, Invent, Win”) for innovative ventures. Innovative projects submitted for the contest undergo several qualification and improvement stages. Business Angel Seedfund has declared a willingness to provide investment support for the best ideas selected in the contest as well as to participate actively in the evaluation of the students’ projects. Events of this kind constitute a great opportunity for idea providers and investors to get together.

We hope to find noteworthy projects among the contest entries,” comments Michał Olszewski from Business Angel Seedfund. “We are keen to invest in the best ones.

It’s a pleasure to welcome Business Angel Seedfund among the participants of the investors’ panel of the second edition of the contest,” adds Kamil Kulesza, PhD, from CambridgePYTHON, “all the more that we have a lot of goals in common. What is more, the Fund’s presence will certainly provide the projects participating in the contest with even better opportunities for gaining investment support and access to know-how.

Wiesz, Wymyśl, Wygraj” (“Learn, Invent, Win”) – a contest organized by CambridgePYTHON in cooperation with the British University of Cambridge. In Poland, the project is supported among others by the British Embassy, the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Warsaw Stock Exchange as well as consulting and IT companies. The project aims at stimulating academic entrepreneurship. It will support the creation and development of innovative academic high-tech projects. The participants of the contest are, for the most part, students and young academics submitting their ideas as a team or individually. The second edition of the contest, which the concluded agreement refers to, started this year in February. The stage of assigning capital, in which Business Angel Seedfund will be involved, is expected to last from September to December this year.
